Water Falls

Morse

Light the wood and throw it through the waterfall.
Watch the embers as they burn and fly.
I knew once a lady, the apple of my eye,
but we melted like rain into the water fall.
She said her love had died,
and I swore I would not cry.
        I wonder why.

Lie la lie, lie la lie, lie la lie, lie lie lie. (repeat)

See my ghosts in the shadow of my waterfall.
Like cash in my hand it's gone before my eyes.
We thunder as a river crashing through a cliff,
and we flowed away from the waterfall.
She said her love had died,
and I swore I would not cry.
        I lied.

Well I could not be enough, although she said I was her love.
And her words just vanished like mist in the waterfall.
