The Ziggens played a pretty laid back set for the most part. There weren't a lot of people there dancing, so they didn't play many of their punk songs, but rather played a set more laden with their surf instrumentals. This is probably the most lucid I've seen Dickie at a show, and it showed in his playing. At the end of the set, Brad thrashed his drums. I was kinda bummed that I had already put the camera away, as I knew by the time I got it back out and turned on, he'd be done a-thrashing and I'd get a shot of nothing. In the future, I'll know, don't put away the cam until the fat-lady sings, the Dickie dances, and Brad thrashes his kit.One other thing of note, Jon wasn't there, so they played with two different bass players, neither of whose names I remember.
