The crowd was pressing in before the Ziggens set, and I could tell there would be a bit of moshing going on for this gig. I was a little leery of getting in there with the camera, so I hung mostly on the sides of the stage where the crowd was a bit more laid back. The crowd were shouting for the punk numbers almost right from the start, but were responsive to the mellower stuff (like Big Salty Tears) as well. There was an endless parade of people joining the Ziggens on stage, including Jon's sister [?] Elsie, who played tambourine with them for a few numbers, and Sammy and Twisty from the Busstop Hurricanes. And as usual at a Ziggens gig, a good time was had by all. Enjoy the pix - |
