The Retros at The Great Australian Bite

The Retros played their usual fare to a somewhat drunk and extremely appreciative crowd at The Great Australian Byte. Basically there were people from the crowd dancing for most of the two sets that I saw.

This was the show of the Retro-Bobs. Since Steve has quit the band, they had a new drummer named Bob. They also had two guest vocalists, one of whom they introduced as Bob Plant. Ok, so his real name is Bob Altermatt, but he sure sounds a lot like Bob Plant :-). The other guest vocalist was a rather drunken guy from the audience who asked if he could do "I Saw Her Standing There" with them, to which they sportingly obliged. Unfortunately, I didn't get any really good shots of Bob the drummer, and no shots at all of Bob Plant or Augie.
