This was a pretty early gig (5:00), so I normally wouldn't have been able to make it, but it's only a couple of miles from where I work, so I went for it. I got there early, so I helped them shlep the gear up from the van (which is now fixed and back from Denver thanks to Steve Cormack -- Auto Repairman to the rock stars). Check out the pix of the Buck van on the posed shots.
After we hauled the stuff into the studio, I just took a seat in the corner of the room where they were playing. It turned out they didn't let anyone else in the room (other than Andy Saldana, the DJ who set the show up, who came in briefly), so I had a sorta private audience with Buck show. It rocked. I asked the band if it would bother them if I moved around while they were playing and stuff and they said no, so I got some cool shots that you couldn't normally get, like over Corky's shoulder & stuff.
