The Beards first public gig was a howling success. First they showed all of the movies from their new CD (be sure to check out the multimedia section on your computer when you buy it). After that, the Beards played a short semi-acoustic set & they sounded great. Kim & Lisa really harmonize well together, particularly on the song Sidewalks.The room was fairly small & crowded, so I couldn't really move around to get different angles, but fortunately Steve Cormack was standing on the other side of the room and he shot some pix & sent them to me, so they're here as well. Next up for the Beards is next month (June) at Amoeba records. Don't miss it! |
